Jill
Munroe was played by
Farrah Fawcett (then
Farrah Fawcett-Majors) in the first season of Charlie's
Angels (1976-1977). Jill returned with six regular guest
appearances in the third and fourth season. Jill is a
wild and exuberant beauty. She is also the sports whiz
of the group. She excels as an athlete and is an expert
in sports trivia. Warm, romantic and a bit kookie, Jill
is a skillful gambler for any stakes - up to and
including her life.
Jill Munroe was by far the most popular of all the
Angels in the Townsend Agency.
Jill, the only blonde in
the original line-up of Angels is the sporty and
athletic Angel, a real expert in martial arts and is
seen coaching at times a girl's basketball team,
playing tennis, swimming, bowling, skateboarding, and
roller-skating on the show. Jill is a real bombshell. A
fun, California golden girl, extremely sexy and
assertive, beautiful, an out-door type and a sex-kitten
24/7. She is the epicenter of all
male attention and she also frequents the
model-type covers, once as a playmate centerfold. Jill
Munroe lives in a house at the beach. Jill's other hobbies include
driving really fast in her sports car.
Jill is very
outgoing, radiant and cheerful with a blunt peculiar
sense of humor.

Past:
Has one little sister Kris Munroe. After graduating
from the Police Academy she jumped at the chance to have
more exciting work in the field as undercover
detectives. As the athletically gifted one, Jill is
versed in all sports and sports-related trivia. She
lives in Malibu. |
|
Fashion:
Jill may have been the athletic Angel, seen
occasionally in blue jeans and sports outfits but she
was also extremely beautiful with an excellent, fit and
very sexy body. She loved to wear thigh-high cutoff
shorts and skimpy T-shirts with no bra. Also she loved
to dress high fashion clothes of the 70s. With no bra.
Strangely enough, Jill never wore a bikini during her
stint in the Agency and is seen in a swimsuit only once
in the episode "The Mexican Connection."
 |
Romance:
Like all the Angels, Jill romanced many men while on the
job. These never lasted beyond a specific episode or
ended badly with the man being the villain. One of
biggest Jill's affairs was Steve Carmody (played by
Stephen
Collins - Episode "Angel Come Home") to
whom she was engaged.
|
Other affairs include
Jericho
(played by
Fernando
Lamas - Episode "Angel Trap") and
Prince Eric
Railman (played by Leonard Mann - Episode "The Prince
and the Angel").

|
Car:
Jill Munroe drives a white Cobra II with two blue
stripes down the middle with license plate number
CALIFORNIA 436-YEB. When Jill left the Charlie Townsend
Agency, her sister Kris took her place and also
inherited her car.
The
Cobra II wasn't any faster than other similarly powered
Mustang IIs, but it sure looked radical and Farrah
Fawcett-Majors' character, Jill Munroe, drove one on the
huge TV hit series Charlie's Angels. |

Covers
and techniques: Jill usually lures men with her
breathtaking Californian looks to get information. She
is also an expert in kung fu and other martial arts and
the most athletic of all the Angels.
Actually she is an expert in tennis, basket ball and roller skating,
an excellent swimmer and a professional race car driver.
Jill also has excellent skills at 5 card poker as we see
in "Hellride".
 |
Why did she leave: Always living on life's edge, Jill left
the Townsend Agency after the first year for an even
more adrenaline-charged pursuit, to become a
professional racecar driver. She actually
managed to come third at Lamanz and won the Grand Prix
in Belgium. Her little sister
Kris (played by Cheryl Ladd) takes her place for
the remaining four seasons. Jill returns six
